Tips for navigating conflict resolution in the workplace


As a member of the Philadelphia Business Journal Leadership Trust, Mark Zinman, Managing Partner of Zinman & Company, often provides advice and insight. Mark and other business leaders were asked for tips on navigating conflict resolution in the workplace.


Mark says, "Foster a culture in which employees know that small issues should be brought to management’s attention while they are still easy to resolve. If a problem persists for weeks, it will grow, feelings will become more intense and the situation will be more difficult and time-consuming to solve. Reinforce the idea to staff that early intervention is key to keep small issues from developing into larger problems."
