After graduating from Lady of Confidence Day School, Katie attended a program at SPIN, Inc. and started working three days per week in the food court of a local mall. She let it be known to her job coach at SPIN, and everyone else she met, that she wanted to work five days per week. When Katie’s job coach heard that there may be an employment opportunity at Zinman & Co., he immediately scheduled an interview for her. The interview was conducted within hours, and Katie arrived wearing her fast-food uniform and her trademark smile. She now enjoys dressing for success and working as a member of the Zinman team as a support associate. In addition to working, Katie is very involved with Special Olympics. She swims the 800 meter freestyle and the 200 meter individual medley, and also competes in volleyball and bowling. In her free time, Katie enjoys dancing and playing harmonica in her dad’s bluegrass jam band.
